I’m forever loosing my phone and often are too late capturing that special moment on my phone camera as I simply can’t find my phone in my bag so I thought it was time for one of those necklace phone cases I keep seeing pop up everywhere. Unfortunately they are rather pricey so I thought, surely I can make one myself. Have a look at the video to see how I worked out to make one.
Not bad he? I made my phone necklace using a clear phone case, rope (you need between 1.5 and 2 meters) 2 small buckle rings, 2 beads, 2 ribbon clamps and I used a hole punch and a pair of scissors.
Ideally my buckle rings would have been smaller, and maybe round, but these were the only ones I had lying around and as you probably know I like using materials I already have lying around instead of buying something new.
As you can see in the video I tried using smaller rings first but I was unsuccessful, shows you that I definitely not always get things right first time around ;-) Thats the nice thing about making something yourself. You try a few methods and maybe one works out, maybe nothing works out and you have to rethink your idea.
My phone is now always within reach, even when I’m wearing an outfit without pockets, Loving it!!
