Coloured hair grips, its SO easy!

Hair grips/ kirby grips/bobby pins come in only a few colours like blond, brown and black. Wouldn't it be nice if you can have your hair grips match your outfit, or in your favourite colour? Well that is super easy! All you need is a nail polish and a bit of card.

I’ve been doing this little hair pin hack for ages, ever since a client wanted me to use a specific colour hair grip that I didn’t had in my kit bag. I mixed up some nail polish and painted some plain hair accessories, saved the day!

It only takes five minutes to do! Couldn’t be easier. Now you can make hair pins that match your outfit, lipstick, favourite colour, the sky (or should I say your nail polish collection) is the limit.

I love using these grips in Kiki’s hair as I think they stay in way better then baby clips. You can use just one grip my I really like adding a few more for some fun colour pops.
