Last minute, handmade made, gift wrap ideas
Have you wrapped your presents yet?
If you are anything like me you probably leave this till the very last minute and as I like a handmade gift wrap I use these clever tricks to create lovely looking, unique parcels made with products I have lying around the house.
My favourite is stamped brown parcel paper, I just love its simplicity. Have a look at the video to see how easy it is to make your own stamp from just some craft foam (you could use a thick card board too)
Close second might be the no sew fabric bag though. I use these bags all the time to store Kiki’s toys and to keep my luggage looking tidy when I travel. All you need is some fabric, glue ( I used Gorilla’s clear adhesive glue) and a ribbon. Couldn’t be easier, especially if you don’t own a sewing machine or can’t be bothered to get your machine out of the cupboard, yup that is me :)
Did you see that tea towels and bandana’s (or silk scarfs from the charity shop) make great gift wrap too? I love that you can use the outside of the present too!
Which one of my tips are you going to try out? I think I might make some more brown paper gift wrap, I’m loving the abstract shapes I made in the video but might give a Christmas tree a try on my next stamp.
Hope you all have a lovely Christmas!! xx Hester
