Meet the Maker: Jessie Cutts, textile artist
Finally a new episode of Meet the Maker! I sit down with Jessie Cutts, the amazing slow stitch textile artist behind Cutts&Sons. I have long been admiring Jessie's quilts and also love following her Georgian seaside house renovations so it was about time I ask Jessie all about her quilt making, slow crafts, relocating to the seaside and her amazing talent of spotting second hand treasures.
Absolutely fascinating to see how Jessie turns bits of scrap fabric into beautiful quilts. Just the sheer amount of time going into each heirloom is just incredible.
I also loved all the tips Jessie shared about shopping for vintage treasures. Her house is beautifully decorated, mainly from charity shop/thrift store finds, Facebook Market place gems and items picked up on her travels. And like Jessie said as long as you stick to your colour pallet everything goes together, you can definitely see that in her house. I couldn’t pin point the home into a style but everything just looks stunning together.
You can find Jessie on www.cuttsandsons.com And on Instagram on @cuttsandsons
Jessie’s house renovations have their on account on @townley_terrace
I hope you enjoyed my sit down with Jessie, she is one inspiring woman!
