Simba Hybrid® Pillow review

A few month back I changed my double duvet for two single Simba Hybrid duvets and I haven’t looked back. Those duvets are the most comfortable I have ever slept under! The bed is pretty comfy too since I build us a new one. The only thing that was stopping me from having a perfect night sleep was my pillow. I tried a single pillow, I tried two pillows, I tried a special neck pillow but I always woke up with lots of tension in my shoulders so when Simba reached out asking if I wanted to try out their Simba Hybrid Pillow I said yes right away!

Just like the duvet the pillow has Stratos® technology, the square texture on the pillow cover you see in the above picture. This is a very clever tech that works a bit like a thermostat, keeping you cool when its hot and warm when its cold. The other side of the pillow is a very soft quilted cotton so you can choose which side you prefer to sleep on.

When you zip open the outer cover you will find an inner cover, zip this one open too and this is where the magic starts. The pillow is filled with squishy foam cubes! All these cubes prefer great air flow when you sleep but you can also adjust how many cubes you want in your pillow by taking some, or lots of them, out. Your pillow arrives with a handy pouch to put some of the foam cubes in if you prefer a softer, flatter pillow.

This is not just a super comfy pillow for your own bed but think how luxurious you guest bed will be if your guests can choose how firm they want their pillow to be? Your own pillow menu! They might never leave :D

I left all the foam cube in my pillow as I prefer a firm pillow and having slept on it for a week I can truly say it is the comfiest pillow I have ever owned. We have had a heat wave the last few days and not once did the pillow feel uncomfortable or sweaty, don’t know if that is the air that can flow inside the pillow in between the foam cubes or the outer Stratos layer but it sure was a very comfy sleep!

I love that I can customise the Simba Hybrid Pillow pillow, I might try how it feels with less foam cubes in the inner pillow case and report back but so far this Goldilocks had some very relaxing sleeps as the pillow was just right :D
