May 25 Meet the maker: Kat Molesworth

I'm so excited to show you my latest episode in meet the maker! This time around it's not a maker that crafts a physical product but a maker that creates communities. Kat Molesworth is a blogger, vlogger, podcaster, social media consultant and director of Blogtacular, the conference for bloggers, freelancers and indie business owners.

Kat has been blogging since the 90's and if there is anything she doesn't know about the business I don't think it's worth knowing :) In our chat we cover the differences of blogging then and now, how the blogging market differences between countries and of course we chat about the upcoming Blogtacular conference. I interviewed Kat in her home office, a lovely colourful space that just had a makeover. Have a look at Kat's blogpost about her office makeover to see the transformation. I love the pink sofa, it's such a great statement piece. The bright patterned storage boxes are great for tidying away equipment and I've been lusting after the Oh Joy yay vases for ages now. Kat created a lovely and bright work space that completely compliments her bright and colourful social media presence.

As you can hear in the interview Kat has some great speakers lined up for this years Blogtacular conference. Natalie Lue and Emma Gannon are the keynote speakers, and there are great workshops lined up with video queen Xanthe Berkeley, social media expert Lucy Nicholls, Mollie Makes's Catherine Dean, writer Great Solomon and many , many more. Blogtacular has such an unique vibe, I've never been in a room full of people before where everybody is so positive. Everybody is rooting for each other and helping each other succeed even though most of us have very similar jobs. There is no feel of competition in the Blogtacular community, there is room for all of us to be the best we can be. You will definitely leave the conference bubbling over with creative idea's, a new found energy to write and create and you probably made a few new buddies. If you are going to the conference come and say hi! I definitely will be there and will even be signing my books in between sessions. Blogtacular
