Sometimes you walk into a shop and everything is just right, beautiful product, amazing styling, great lighting and friendly staff. You have to restrain yourself not to buy everything or Instagram the hell out of the shop :)

Well Etcetera is one of those shops, owner Shelly has done an amazing job curating all her plants, interior pieces, skin care and books to create a true lifestyle heaven. If you like succulents and air plants this is the place for you! You can find Etc. on Love Lane in Margate (how awesome is that street name?!) on the Kent coast but don't fear if you live further away as they have an awesome web shop as well. If you haven't made it down to Margate yet you should, it's the perfect weekend destination being only 1 hour and 15 minutes train journey from London. With its beautiful beaches, great vintage shops, the Turner Contemporary and newly revived Dreamland vintage theme park you will be spoiled for choice. There are new and exciting restaurants and bars popping up everywhere, a buzz is definitely in the air.

How cute are those concrete letters above? I got a little K for Kermit to go with the metal I and wooden H I already have so the whole family as their initials on the mantel piece ;)

If you are a regular reader you might know my living room is decorated in a botanical theme (have a look here) I love a house plant or ten around me. At the moment it's mainly succulents, cacti and small palms as they seem to agree with the lack of being looked after. If you're in the market for some fat plants, air plants and cacti go to Etcetera as their collection is massive. You might buy more then just a plant though, don't say I didn't warn you ;)
