Changeable gallery wall, great for displaying kids art
Kiki loves arts and crafts and I really wanted to give her a special spot to display her favourite pieces. I also wanted something I can easily change up and without having to drill holes in the wall so I came up with this colour block, changeable gallery wall! The grey shape anchors all the art pieces and by using bulldog clips and easily removable command hooks I have a wall that I can change up whenever I want.
I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Paris grey mixed with some Paloma and Old White (all Annie Sloan) The base colour on the wall is Valspar's Shetland jumper, a very pale grey. Don't limit yourself to just kids art this system is great for showcasing any print, photo or drawing. The hooks I used hold 225 grams so perfect for these drawings. Just don’t hang any framed art.
I really like how the grey shape points towards the grey wall next to it and rather like the odd shape I painted too. What would you have painted? I rectangle, circle, oval?
If you like to see more about the outside wall I briefly showed you in the video have a look here. I just the same paint on that wall :D
