Make Christmas presents, kids painted mugs!
Who doesn’t like to receive a handmade gift, especially when made by a little child. These hand painted mugs will be cherished for years!
Besides being very cute gifts they are very budget friendly too, I picked up the white mugs in my local charity shop for 50p. You could even have a look in your cupboards for mugs you haven’t used in a while.
Let your child be as creative as they want to be painting the mugs, just make sure the paint doesn’t go inside the mug and that the rim stays clear too (the area your lips will touch when drinking
The paint I used is a Marabu Porcelain one I had in my craft cupboard, there are lots of paints available just have a look at your paints instructions as some are air dry (like mine) and others need to be cured in the oven. This Marabu paint is dishwasher safe too, most aren’t so have a check before giving your gift.
Have a crafty Christmas!!
