Post card hack, personalise shop bought cards
It is so nice to send somebody a handmade card but you don’t always have time to make something from scratch. That is where this little card hack comes in!
With just a few polka dot stickers, letters and patterned paper you can make a shop bought card look a lot more interesting. Have a look at my video
Super easy right?
The floral card, the BBC Spring watch card, the letter stickers and the primary colour dots are all from WH Smith. The deer/elk card is from Bengt & Lotta and the grey/blue/pink dots are left over from my high chair hack, if you missed the Ikea Antilop makeover have a look here. The pattern paper I got from an old Flow magazine. You also need a scissor, ruler, pencil and pen.
There are so many more ways of making shop bought cards look a bit more interesting. You can use stripes of washi tape (paper tape) , you can cover parts of the card with a patterned paper or you can just doodle straight on the card with a marker pen.
My favourite card is the polka dot heron, which one do you like best?
