Can you believe it’s December tomorrow?! This year has been so weird but has gone by so quickly! And although everybody on my social media seems to have their Christmas tree up I somehow forgot that it is the first day of Advent tomorrow. So here a last minute post for the lovely Advent calendar I made for Childrensalon.

Childrensalon approached me a while ago if I would like to craft a Advent calendar with Kiki live on Instagram and of course I said yes. I love Childrensalon and crafting sessions with Kiki the only bit that was a bit daunting was that it would be streamed live :D But we survived, Kiki behaved perfectly and you can watch the whole thing back on the Childrensalon IG You can find the photo tutorial on how I made this cute bottle brush forrest on the Childrensalon website

Kiki is very excited she can open the first jar tomorrow, curious to know if she remembers what we put inside them. I’m not keen on chocolate in Advent calendars , I prefer little presents, photos and notes. How cute would it be if you have your family write little things you can put in your jars? Or have the small ones in your family make drawings/paintings for each other. You can put whatever you like in the jars and that way make it a very personal calendar. Don’t tell Kiki but I even wrapped up a few toys she already owns but hasn’t played with in ages.
